Sunstone Circuits, the Mulino, Oregon-based printed circuit board (PCB) company, has hired Diane M. Economaki as the Director of Marketing. Her appointment was announced in October by Terry Heilman, Sunstone's CEO.

Economaki, who has been working in a similar capacity for Wacom Technology Corporation since 2005, will oversee Sunstone's global marketing and eCommerce activities; support Sunstone industry events; manage media relations and partner relations; and is charged with expanding the company's market presence and sales momentum globally.

"Diane's considerable marketing expertise and high standards are just what we need here at Sunstone to establish an even higher level of marketing intelligence and planning in the vital market of printed circuit boards (PCB)," Heilman said. "She is both innovative and determined."

Economaki began her marketing career in 1989 as Sales and Marketing Manager for Rodale Press, Inc. in Emmaus, Pennsylvania and moved to Portland, Oregon in 1996. Bringing a wealth of eCommerce knowledge to Sunstone, along with a proven track record of significantly growing eCommerce corporate revenue, she steps into her new role with a mission to significantly grow Sunstone's market share. Economaki brings a depth of global eCommerce best practices, a knowledge that will be key in her efforts to establish Sunstone's eCommerce channels for Canada and Europe. Together with eROI, Inc., a leading interactive agency, Economaki has won three industry awards for excellence in email marketing that significantly enhanced online sales activity.
