Heraeus has announced an innovative new solder paste for thick film conductors. F555 sets new levels for adhesion to glass frit materials. Unlike traditional solder pastes whose activators attack the glass, F555 incorporates activators that are compatible with the glass, resulting in superior adhesion that is unmatched in the market place. 

The Heraeus organization combined expertise from their thick films and contact materials divisions to collaborate on this unique, innovative formulation that is truly chemically complimentary to thick films. 

According to Frank Murch, Director of Sales and Marketing, "No other manufacturers of either solder pastes or thick films possess the expertise and technical depth to approach this task as comprehensively as Heraeus has." The F555 water washable solder paste is commercially available with Sn62 and Sn63 alloys.
