Ucamco (formerly Barco ETS) have launched version 4.1 of their Integr8tor automatic data input and analysis tool.
Integr8tor is a powerful tool to enhance customer relations and increase front-end throughput by up to 30%. Its automatic data input and design analysis capability provides the job parameters needed for fast, accurate quotations and for higher throughput through the front-end tooling process.
The latest release focuses on greater ease of use both for the fabricator and for his customer. The new user interface based on Adobe's well-established Flex and AIR technology is consistent and familiar to non-CAM specialists. The technology used means that Integr8tor runs securely on all major browser and desktop systems. For the end user a new downloadable active PDF Request For Quotation form means that he can input all non-CAD job parameters (material, copper weight, solder-mask colour, etc.) in a straightforward format which is directly read by Integr8tor. The new RFQ form saves the end-user time and minimises the risk of error.
Data is input in Extended Gerber, DPF or ODB++. Integr8tor can solve most jobs fully automatically including stack-up calculation. Where the data is ambiguous or incomplete, new functionality allows the Integr8tor operator more options to intervene directly and simply in the system. Where CAM intervention is needed the job can be checked out, processed and checked in again in a smooth and timely workflow.
Integr8tor runs equally well in a Ucamco UCAM or Frontline Genesis environment.
