Colonial Circuits Appoints Pierce Operations Manager
Tuesday, September 1, 2009 | Colonial Circuits

Mark Osborn, President and Founder of Colonial Circuits announced today the appointment of James Pierce to the position of Operations Manager. In this position, Pierce will report directly to Osborn and will be responsible for all company operations, including production, engineering, facilities and quality.

"Hiring Jim Pierce is a good move for us," said Osborn. "We feel that the experience, dedication and leadership that he brings to Colonial is precisely what we need at this time. With the onset of stricter enforcement of ITAR and military specifications, our company, which is in full compliance with these requirements, is ready to serve all customers who need a supplier with our unique qualifications. This means we have to be fully prepared to meet those customer needs. Someone with Jim's abilities is exactly what we've been looking for to lead Colonial in meeting those needs--both today and in the future."

Pierce has held key leadership positions in the PCB business for a number of  years, working with several companies, including Global Innovation (formerly Lonestar Circuits) in Texas and, most recently, with Waytec in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Pierce commented,"Becoming a part of a company like Colonial Circuits is an opportunity that I truly look forward to. The capabilities, resources and technology that Colonial has is exactly what I look for in a company. I feel strongly that they are very well-positioned to handle all of the high-tech, quick-turn and, especially, military requirements that our customers are looking for in a supplier. The fact that they have been in business for almost 29 years, are financially secure and have a great team, with a great attitude, is an added bonus. I look forward to being a part of this team."
