Globecomm Systems Inc., a leading global provider of satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Globecomm Services Maryland, has been awarded a five month services contract from a U.S. Government Agency valued at $3.7 million.

Pursuant to the terms set forth in the contract, Globecomm will provide the customer with the following:

• Internet delivery services to 1,500 U.S. Government personnel deployed overseas.
• Managed service offering to fifty remote locations in theatre.
• On-site personnel for engineering and maintenance of the fifty remote locations.
