Amphenol's 3Q09 Revenue Down; Still Tops Expectations

Amphenol Corporation, a maker of electronic and fiber optic connectors, reported quarterly results that beat Wall Street expectations, driven partly by growth in mobile devices and forecast fourth-quarter revenue above analysts' expectations. For the third quarter, Amphenol earned $83.4 million, or 47 cents a share, compared with $116.5 million, or 63 cents a share, a year ago.
