Approximately 50 CEOs and managing directors from the electronics and electronic production industries will meet on November 10, 2009 for the first annual Munich Electronics Summit, held concurrently with productronica 2009. Their purpose will be to discuss industry future trends and strategies.

They will be accompanied this year by Dr. Ram Charan, one of the world's leading management consultants and the guest of honor at the Munich Electronics Summit. The facilitator will be Dr. Jürgen Gromer, the long-standing President of Tyco Electronics. The host will be Klaus Dittrich, Managing Director of Messe München GmbH.

A New CEO Roundtable Format

The CEO Roundtable will be preceded for the first time by a keynote address, given this year by Dr. Charan. After the keynote, the following CEOs will discuss innovation company strategies for coping with the world economic crisis.

After the Roundtable, CEOs of companies from the U.S., Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom will meet for an exclusive fireside chat to exchange ideas, strategies and future-oriented trends in a private atmosphere. Dr. Charan will chair these discussions. He will begin with the impetus provided by productronica and continue talking about ideas, future-oriented technologies and general political conditions in the electronics industry.
