The European Institute of Printed Circuits (EIPC) has announced the "EIPC-EBFRIP Workshop," which will discuss implications and threats of the RoHS recast for the PCB sector. Featuring the theme "Does the PCB industry need halogen-free laminates and prepregs?," the workshop will be held January 21, 2010, in Intellect, London, UK, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The workshop will provide information about the different flame retardant technologies for laminates and prepregs for PCBs and the technical and process relevant aspects associated with these technologies. The workshop will give participants an understanding of the decision-making process and advice on how to best protect the interests of your sector and engage with decision-makers.
