HEI, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has achieved qualification to MIL-P-50884E. This qualification was awarded by DSCC, which is governed by the Defense Logistics Agency. DSCC manages Military qualifications for the electronics industry. The MIL-P-50884E qualification allows HEI's High-Density Interconnect Division in Tempe, Arizona to manufacture rigid-flex and flex circuit boards for military programs that require this level of certification.

Bill Sezate, General Manager, HEI-Tempe remarked, "Our advanced PCB technology capabilities that have had a strong reputation in the Class III Medical Device industry can now be offered to programs requiring Military certification." The HEI, Arizona plant specializes in quick-turn and low to medium volume flex and rigid-flex PCB fabrication for the medical, industrial, telecommunications and Mil-Aero markets.

"This qualification complements our recently acquired AS9100 certification and confirms our commitment to offer high-end PCB solutions in the Mil-Aero markets," added Alfred Macha, Director of Corporate Quality.
