Westak Selects Burkle WorkCell Lamination System

Dave Howard, Vice President and Business Unit Manager for Bürkle North America, announced today that Westak, a leading manufacturer of PCBs headquartered in Sunnyvale, California has taken delivery of a Bürkle WorkCell lamination system. The modular WorkCell comprises a Hot Press, Cold Press and automatic loader, together with a state-of-the-art process monitoring system. Westak is replacing a Bürkle laminator that they have operated for more than 20 years. The new modular system has six openings with the capability of adding a second hot press in the future as needs dictate. 

Louise Crisham, Westak's CEO, commented, "We believe Bürkle manufactures a quality product and are excited to take advantage of the more advanced capability of the new WorkCell."

Howard commented, "We are delighted to continue this long-standing business partnership with Westak and look forward to another 20+ years of service and support for the new equipment."

Bürkle's FabFour Machinery Alliance consists of Bürkle Lamination and Coating Systems, Schmoll Maschinen advanced drilling and routing machines, Bacher Registration and Exposure Systems and LHMT Scoring and Beveling equipment.
